Very simple really! cooked-at-home.com is the world's first directory dedicated to listings of home based chefs.

So we have those who love to cook at home (Pakaos) - they register with us to get a Listing page.

Then we have those who love and want home cooked food (Khaos) who browse through the Listings of home chefs from their city registered with us.

Uniting those who love home cooked food ....with those who love to cook at home - that's what we do!

No.

At present, we have no arrangement for delivery services between transacting Khaos and Pakaos. Home chefs and their customers have to mutually decide on pick-up or delivery.

Think of us like a directory or yellow pages, just dedicated to home cooked food. Just as your listing in yellow pages does not imply any services by the directory service provider; similarly registering on a city node of cooked-at-home does not imply any commitment for delivery.

We don't know.

Orders are placed directly with the Pakaos, who accept, prepare and fulfill those orders. The scope of our service is to put KHAOs in touch with PAKAOs. Beyond that point, the home chef (Pakao) takes over.

If your city is not on the Directory page, then it means we do not have listings for said city - yet. Do keep visiting us at intervals, as we are sure your town will find its place into our Directory, sooner or later.

If you happen to be a home chef in a city that isn't yet in our directory, do fill in our registration form to sign up for a Listing and be the first in your city to do so!

To register as a Pakao and get your own Listing page you need to

a) fill up and submit the registration form
b) and then email your menu and photos, along with testimonials and faqs if any, to admin at cooked-at-home.com). Details of what to send are:

1. Two large photos, 1920 pixels wide or larger. One of these will be used on the right hand side of your Listing. This can be one of you in your kitchen or with your dishes. It can also be a photo of your speciality or best selling item. (If you do not have one of these, please don't worry. We will add an appropriate one from free image sharing sites)
2. A close-up of your face, max size 300 x 300 pixels for your contact card profile picture. Your face should be clearly visible and recognisable.
3. 4-8 pictures of your dishes, (size 200 x 200 pixels) with your home made items clearly visible. Please use the name of your dish as the name of the image file. For example, a photo of your home cooked chicken biryani should be called chicken-biryani.jpg so that it can be labelled correctly.
4. Image of your logo, if you happen to use one.
5. Please send only .jpg or .png files for all of the above.
6. A list of your menu items for the Menu & Pricing table in the Cooking Info section of your Listing page. Please mention the name, price and quantity of each of the dishes on your menu.
7. If you like, you can include upto 3 commonly asked questions, and their answers, about your home made goodies, for the F.A.Q.s section of your Listing.
8. You may also include 3 testimonials, with full names and ratings between 1 to 5 stars.
9. All the text and images should be included in one single email.
10. This email must be sent from the same email as mentioned in this registration form, so that we can connect your images to your registration form.

After we receive both - this registration form with your details, as well as your email with your images and menu, we can create your searchable, shareable Listing page.

Anytime you want to make changes to the information or images in your Listing page, please drop an email to admin at cooked-at-home.com.

Please allow 15-20 days for your Listing to reflect the changes.

It can take a few days, even upto 2 weeks after your Listing page goes online, for it to reflect in the search results. Please wait a while, and your Listing will soon show up in the search results.

For Khaos, the use of this site is completely free of any cost or charges whatsoever.

For Pakaos, registration and a Listing page is free as well.
