You & Me Agree
Detailed below is what we offer, and what you consent to, when you use the cooked-at-home® website.
Should you not agree to any of these clauses, kindly refrain from using this website in any way or form.
The Party of the First Party is the Home Chef, the preparer and provider of home cooked food, henceforth referred to as PAKAO.
The Party of the Second Party is the Home Food Lover, the one who loves and seeks food cooked-at-home®, henceforth referred to as KHAO.
The Party of the Third Party is Cooked-At-Home®, the online platform provider for KHAOs and PAKAOs to connect via the Directory Search of Pakao Listings, henceforth referred to as WE or US.
1. Platform Clause meeting space on the web
cooked-at-home® brings together those who love home cooked food and those who love to cook at home. We are a platform for KHAO and PAKAO to meet, without any participation whatsoever, in the transactions and interactions that may ensue between them.
2. No Commision Clause no fee for use of site
We do not charge any commission on orders placed nor any transactions, neither from PAKAOs nor from KHAOs. Which is why we assume no responsibility for services rendered or products provided. KHAOs and PAKAOs agree to US remaining a neutral third party, an introducer of KHAO to PAKAO, and PAKAO to KHAO, and not accountable for any further interactions between the two.
3. Listing Fees Fees for Listings & updates
For over a decade now, Pakao Listings have remained free. That changes from March 8th 2024 , with the introduction of a nominal charge for various services like New Listing Fee, Update Listing Fees, placement In The Spotlight etc. These fees will soon be communicated on a Fee page.
While the New Listing Fee will not be charged to existing Pakaos, any updates to said Listings (created before 8th March 2024) will incur an Update Listing Fee.
We reserve the right to present all information supplied by PAKAOs in a manner conforming to our website design and communication style.
4. For PAKAOs Listing page
To every PAKAO, we offer a Listing - a dedicated webpage to display information about their home cooked goodies, delivery options etc. Each Listing is a search-friendly, shareable webpage for every individual Pakao.
PAKAOs can provide multiple ways for KHAOs to get in touch with them - mobile/ tel numbers, email, links to their website and select social media accounts.
We reserve the right to remove a PAKAO Listing page, should the The Pakao Pledge be violated in any way.
5. For KHAOs Search & Browse
To KHAOs we offer an easy way to find home chefs offering home cooked food in their cities. KHAOs can browse or search through the Listings of PAKAOs registered with us.
Total transparency is maintained with regard to the contact information of PAKAOs. We display all the ways to connect that a PAKAO provides - numbers, email, address, links to social media accounts and websites.
We reserve the right to restrict a KHAO's use of this website, should the The Khao Manifesto not be followed.
6. For Us no liability assumed
Though we prescribe a code of conduct and expect adherence to the clauses in The Khao Manifesto and The Pakao Pledge, we assume no liability nor imply any guarantee, for any and all interactions between PAKAOs and KHAOs.
